ABOUT US

As the Ghanaian business community in the Netherlands continues to grow and establish itself more firmly, there is an increasing need for well-structured and efficient mechanisms to support trade and investment activities between Ghana and the Netherlands.

The expanding network of entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals creates opportunities for stronger economic ties, yet also highlights challenges related to navigating regulatory frameworks, accessing market information, and securing financial and logistical support. Consequently, there is a pressing demand for dedicated platforms, partnerships, and policies that facilitate smoother business interactions, promote mutual investment, and encourage sustainable economic collaboration between the two nations. Establishing such frameworks will not only enhance bilateral trade but also foster innovation, job creation, and long-term development for both Ghanaian and Dutch stakeholders.

MISSION

To foster and enhance trade relations between the Netherlands and Ghana.

To be a dynamic business chamber that provides meaningful connections, resources, and expertise to ensure long-term success for businesses in both regions.

The Netherlands Ghana Business Chamber aims to facilitate bilateral trade by supporting Ghanaian and Dutch businesses in expanding their market opportunities. It focuses on building networks and partnerships by creating platforms for entrepreneurs and stakeholders to connect. Additionally, the Chamber provides market insights and business services, offering advisory support and business intelligence to its members. Promoting sustainable development by encouraging responsible trade and investment practices is also a key priority. The roadmap for establishing the Chamber includes several phases: initial planning and feasibility studies to research trade opportunities and engage stakeholders; legal and administrative setup to register the Chamber and establish governance structures; developing core services and infrastructure such as offices, online platforms, and membership models; and building strategic partnerships through collaboration with government agencies and other relevant organizations.
